Sarah and I just returned from the International Conference held in Orlando, Florida for the last weekend in July. We learned a lot of good things to help take our chapter to the next level, and hopefully see some more chapter involvement.
Look forward to some exciting new events coming up for the next year. If you think you may be eligible for Golden Key, look out in late August and early September for our mail outs. Our New Member Recognition will be held on November 4th at 7:00 pm and we hope all new members will be able to attend.
If you are interested in playing an active role in the upcoming chapter, or have any suggestions please e-mail us and let us know. We'd love to hear from you. Be on the lookout for e-mails when school starts about member meetings, and ways to earn free stuff!
Congratulations to all those graduating in the summer session. If you still need to buy cords, you still have time. Stop by the Economics Office in the Smith Hutson Building, Room 232. They are $15. If you're interested in getting a Golden Key t-shirt before you know, please e-mail us and we'll make sure the office has some for you to buy (the shirts are only $12).
